Continuation of Day Seven
Around ten that night Kathy called me back upstairs to check out a noise she heard in the kitchen, one of the sticky traps was turned over and in the middle of the floor. We started the watch
routine again and we sat quietly in the dark for over hour. I remembered an old wire trap that I had in the building out back, this was about ten inches by eighteen inches and has a door on each end with the bait on a trip platform in the middle, I set it up and baited it with the peanut butter, block of the remaining door opening and waited again. Kathy retired around eleven and I camped out on the love seat in front of the fireplace where I could watch the kitchen door way by the night light.

In this day of internet commerce, many people buy and sell horses sight unseen. I have done both several times with success. But have you ever wondered why that wonderful horse you have advertised hasn’t sold even after you sent photos or video to prospective buyers? You know he or she is a great horse. You’ve seen him out in the pasture strutting his stuff. You know he handles well, has correct conformation, good legs and feet, and a wonderful disposition. If it’s a riding horse, you know that he can and will do whatever is expected without fuss and in a stylish way. In addition, he positively gleams in the sunlight when he is clean. To top it off, you have him priced reasonably.

Sunshine, No Matter What the Weather is
By Carine Nadel
It hadn’t been long-3 months that our home had been pet-less. First, we lost our 13 year old cat Snowy. Then we lost our 12 year old dog Lucky.
We were a family of four and my husband and I ran a home day care with a dozen kids daily but the house felt empty. We had never been without a “furry” kid.
We were heartbroken at these losses.
